Baleshare

Baleshare Beach is a beautiful location where wild parking is allowed. The beach itself has some interesting features and I made some nice images there.

On a beautiful sunny day, I decided to leave the car at Balranald and take the motorhome down to Baleshare Beach - one of the most beautiful and secluded beaches in the Outer Hebrides, located on the island of Baleshare, just off the coast of North Uist. The beach offers stunning views of the turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean, as well as the rugged mountains of South Uist.

A rocky strip borders the beach for quite long distance and provides some excellent opportunities for studies of the rock and sand patterns they cause. I have included a few below, taken with the iPhone. I will process those taken with my Canon and add them to my photography site when it is up and running.

I spent two full days and one full night at Baleshare before returning to Balranald.
